Since Cote d’Ivoire achieved independence from France in 1960, the country has focused on agriculture which is the foundation of its economy and the main source of growth. Cote d’Ivoire is among the world’s largest producers and exporters of Cocoa beans, Cashew nuts Rubber, Green coffee, Mango, palm oil, and many more.
With all these efforts made by the government, there are a lot of sectors that are still vulnerable.
Particularly women in the rural areas of the country.
Growing up in the northern region of Cote d’Ivoire in the 80s, we decided to create a substantial business that would benefit the well-being of our mothers, sisters, and daughters back home. That is why we came up with the Cashew nut, Baobab powder, Baobab oil, Shea butter, and Fonio. 95% of the farmers and cooperatives in these agricultural sectors are women.
